Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to step in during the Director of Pharmacy’s absence. You will oversee dispensing, workflow, inventory, and quality initiatives to ensure safe, efficient service.

You will lead staff, promote compliance with regulatory standards, monitor medication use and costs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, dispensing processes, and medication management.
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards and quality/compliance requirements.
• Ability to monitor medication use and control costs while maintaining safety.
• Effective leadership and communication skills for staff and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy operations, including dispensing and workflow management when needed.
• Provide staff support, guidance, and oversight to promote compliance and quality.
• Manage medication inventory, procurement-related processes, and stock control.
• Monitor medication use, errors/quality indicators, and medication-related costs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across pharmacy practices and documentation.
• Deliver or coordinate clinical pharmacy services and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Support safe patient care through medication management and interdisciplinary communication.
