• Preferred: 1 year pharmacy technician experience in a Specialty or Hospital environment.
• Preferred: Billing experience and understanding of healthcare pharmacy system.

Responsibilities

• Partner with care providers and pharmacists to ensure patients receive needed medication accurately and timely.
• Act as SME in third party regulations and billing guidelines for pharmacy benefits and insurance claims.
• Receive prescriptions/orders and prepare or dispense medication under pharmacist supervision.
• Coordinate ordering and delivery of medications and supplies to patients and clinical areas.
• Data collection, reporting, and maintenance of patient education materials.
