Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in pharmacy or Pharm.D.; MBA preferred.
• Active Florida Pharmacist license obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in pharmacy operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a budget and supervise staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Directs, implements, coordinates, plans for and evaluates the business operations for the department.
• Develops and ensures adherence to department’s annual budget.
• Participates in financial analysis and planning including monitoring monthly budget variances.
• Advances strategic financial plan and makes recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee the review, approval and reporting of all expenditures.
• Creates and manages support systems to assure availability of cost‑effective supplies, equipment, and management information.
• Monitors contractual obligations and ensures consistency with departmental budget, goals, and programmatic initiatives.
