Job summary

Brown University Health Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Navigator to support clinic-based care teams in ensuring timely access to medication therapy and improving patient adherence. You will assist with prior authorizations, financial assistance applications, and documenting in the EHR and pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of college preferred.
• Maintain RI Pharmacy Technician II licensure and National Certification (CPhT).
• Minimum two years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience with benefits management, prior authorizations, and patient financial assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinic teams to ensure timely access to medications and adherence.
• Process prescriptions, prior authorizations, and financial assistance applications.
• Input patient data into EHR and pharmacy systems; support documentation.
