Job summary

Babcock Specialty Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee and optimize pharmacy services across the assigned area. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires a Pharm.D. or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, with several years in a supervisory capacity and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Texas licensure eligibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy is required.
• Five years of experience as a pharmacist is preferred.
• Three years of management or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, plan and manage pharmacy services in assigned area or location.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective and efficient pharmacy services to patients and staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (TJC, OSHA, CMS/Medicare, Texas Board of Pharmacy, USP 795/797/800, URAC, ACHC, DEA).
• Act as liaison for pharmacy services with patients, physicians and health care professionals.
• Maintain exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
