Job summary
Meijer in Indiana is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations. You will hire staff, conduct performance reviews, manage budgets, ensure compliance and deliver high quality patient care including immunizations and counseling.
The ideal candidate has a PharmD or equivalent, active pharmacist license, 3+ years of retail experience and leadership skills. Meijer offers weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, education assistance, and a strong development
Qualifications
- PharmD or Doctorate of Pharmacy with active pharmacist license.
- Minimum 3 years in retail/community practice.
- Experience with staff hiring, performance reviews and team development.
- Solid knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws.
- CPR certification and Immunization certification as required by state.
Responsibilities
- Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
- Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
- Implements pharmacy programs including financial results and profitability.
- Educates and mentors pharmacists and technicians.
- Motivates team and expands pharmacy business.
- Ensures compliance with Meijer policies and federal/state laws.
- Oversees immunization services where allowed.
- Communicates effectively and prioritizes workload.
