Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations in a Walgreens store in Florida. You will oversee dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and clinical services while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will manage staff performance, workflow efficiency, and inventory, and collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes. Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active pharmacist licensure, immunization

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D required.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and pharmacy operations.
Experience dispensing medications and understanding state/federal controlled-substance laws.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and insurance questions.
Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications in compliance with regulations and company policies.
Oversees pharmacy workflow, staffing, scheduling, and performance coaching.
Maintains pharmacy IT systems, inventory management, and customer service processes.
