Walgreens is recruiting a Pharmacy Manager in Florida to lead clinical and operational pharmacy activities, ensuring accurate dispensing, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on enhancing patient experience, overseeing staff performance, and driving efficient pharmacy workflows.

The position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD, active licensure, and at least one year of pharmacy experience including immunization capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.

Responsabilités

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, generics, and OTC products.
• Performs prescription dispensing activities and ensures accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and efficient workflow, including staff scheduling and supervision.
• Oversees pharmacy operations, inventory management, and financial performance.
• Collaborates with management to develop opportunities and improve patient experience.
• Fosters training and development of pharmacy staff and conducts performance reviews.
