Qualifikationen

• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of state/federal controlled substance laws.
• Internal candidates: average leadership rating of 3.0+ on last performance review and no disciplinary actions in last 12 months.

Aufgaben

• Counsel patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC options.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Review and dispense prescribed medications accurately and in compliance.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow, scheduling, roles, and operations; open/close shifts.
• Ensure Good Faith Dispensing elements per state/federal laws.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to identify new business opportunities and improve performance.
• Maintain pharmacy IT knowledge for systems, workflow, billing, and inventory.
• Process insurance claims and address issues with payors and providers.
• Provide immunizations, diagnostic testing, and wellness services as needed.
