Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Manager at our Harvey St - Muskegon, MI store to lead pharmacy operations, develop staff, and deliver exceptional patient care.

You will supervise pharmacists and technicians, implement programs, and ensure compliance with laws and Meijer policies. The role emphasizes leadership, performance reviews, staff development, and a focus on expanding clinical services, including immunizations where permitted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate of Pharmacy and state pharmacist licensure.
• Registered Pharmacist in Michigan; CPR certification.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification and required certifications completed.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Perform and review pharmacist/technician performance.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Lead pharmacy programs: financials, clinical services, inventory, and profitability.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy team members.
• Drive team performance and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Oversee clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
• Communicate workload priorities effectively.
