Qualifications

• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing and compliance.
• Experience with prescription dispensing activities and controlled substances laws.
• Leadership expectations based on past performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications per regulations.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge including billing, documentation, inventory, and POS.
• Develops strategic opportunities with the Store Manager and community physicians.
