Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Director of Pharmacy and Executive VP of Operations to ensure the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all policies and standards.
• Maintain daily operation of pharmacy department by supervising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the routine performance of their duties.
• Provide appropriate technical and customer service training for pharmacy staff.
• Review and update established drug-therapy guidelines and other policies and procedures with management for use by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
• Provide drug information to meet the needs of physicians and nurses through direct contact or in-service programs.
• Prepare reports and maintain records as required or requested by management.
• Maintain current knowledge of drug therapies through literature, seminars, and affiliations.

Pharmacy Manager - Full Time - Port Gamble S'Klallam Pharmacy

VytlOne (formerly know as Maxor National Pharmacy Services) is seeking a compassionate, customer service-oriented Pharmacy Manager for a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy located in Kingston, WA. In this integrated model, the Pharmacy Manager will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients.VytlOne (formerly Maxor National Pharmacy Services,) headquartered in Amarillo, TX, will manage the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Manager, a VytlOne employee, is a competent, dynamic leader who is responsible for the coordination of patient services within the pharmacy and supervision of pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Director of Pharmacy and or the Executive VP of Operations ensure the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all policies and standards of Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation.

• Prepare various reports and maintain records or supervise the maintenance of records as required or requested by the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations.


• Maintain current knowledge of drug therapies and drug reactions and interactions by reading professional literature, attending seminars and utilizing professional affiliations.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position:

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy


• Current/Clear Washington State Pharmacist license

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of retail and/or clinic-based pharmacy management experience;


• Strong leadership and supervisory skills;


• Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team;


• Effective written and verbal communication skills;


• Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
