Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of practice (Ohio).
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist.
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year of management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions.
• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implements and executes pharmacy programs, including financials, clinical services, labor and inventory.
• Educates and mentors pharmacists and technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivates and develops team members toward high performance.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
