Job summary

Meijer in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a licensed pharmacist to fill prescriptions accurately, educate staff, and oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge. The role involves immunizations and maintaining strong patient relationships within a team-driven Meijer Pharmacy environment.

The candidate will bring Pharmacy Doctorate or BS degree, active state licensure, CPR and Immunization certification, with retail/community practice experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered and licensed in state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification.
• Retail/Community Practice.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Perform and oversee clinical services including immunizations.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer Policies and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and prioritize workload.
