• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and generics; refers to medical provider as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications according to regulations.
• Oversees pharmacy operations, staff scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintains inventory and ensures efficient workflow and customer service.
