Centstone is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for a 13-week contract in Newport, Oregon. This leadership role oversees pharmacy operations, maintains management controls, and supports safe, high-quality delivery of services.

The Pharmacy Manager will plan, direct, and evaluate departmental activities and costs while supporting staff and clinical operations, including medication preparation, patient status assessment, and education of patients and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Years of Pharmacist Experience Required.
• Pharmacy Leadership Experience Required.
• Current, Unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist License Required.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification Required.
• Current ACLS Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate pharmacy department operations, activities, staffing functions, and associated costs.
• Provide leadership and operational support to pharmacy staff while promoting effective departmental performance.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations and maintaining effective management controls to support the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of pharmacy services.

The Pharmacy Manager will plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate departmental activities and costs while supporting pharmacy staff and clinical operations. The role also includes medication preparation and dispensing, assessment of patient clinical status, provision of drug information to the medical team, and patient education.

• Must Meet One of the Required Experience or Residency Pathways: ASHP-Accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency; ASHP-Accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency Plus 1 Year of Pharmacist Experience; 2 Years of Pharmacist Experience; or 1 Year of Leadership Experience Plus 1 Year of Pharmacist Experience.
