Job summary

Lufkin Pharmacy & Co. is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge to join our team in Lufkin, TX. This role oversees daily operations, staffing, and regulatory compliance while driving patient care initiatives.

With an emphasis on teamwork and high-quality service, the PIC will lead a small pharmacy team, promote a positive environment, and participate in ownership through Ark Pharmacies’ ESOP. A relocation option is available and full benefits accompany the package.

Qualifications

• Active Texas pharmacist license in good standing.
• 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
• Leadership experience as PIC or in a supervisory role.
• Willingness to relocate.
• Familiarity with PioneerRx preferred.

$166,400 Salary + $35,000 Sign-On Bonus + Fully Paid Health, Dental & Vision + Employee Ownership

Lufkin Pharmacy & Co. is looking for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge to join our team!

We are an independently operated pharmacy and part of Ark Pharmacies, an employee-owned company focused on exceptional patient care, compassionate service, and investing in our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and staffing for a team including 2 staff pharmacists, multiple pharmacy technicians, cashiers & a delivery driver
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Texas, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA
• Oversee and participate in quality improvement and patient-care initiatives.
• Assist with customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Promote a positive, team-oriented pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Has 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
• Holds an active Texas pharmacist license in good standing
• Demonstrated management and leadership skills, including responsibility as PIC
• Takes pride in accuracy, patient care, and teamwork
• Familiarity with PioneerRx (preferred)

Schedule & Location:

• Store Location: Lufkin, TX
• Store Hours:
• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
• All full-time employees are expected to work approximately 40 hours per week with rotating weekends. Schedules may vary based on pharmacy needs.
