Job summary

Ascension Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK, is seeking a Pharmacist for the Retail Pharmacy department. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with duties focused on hospital-based retail dispensing for discharged patients and staff.

You will lead daily operations, drive new outpatient programs and bedside delivery, and coach staff to deliver high-quality customer care while aligning with the hospital's financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
• Licensed Pharmacist with Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or eligible for licensure required.
• 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting OR completion of an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail dispensing inside the hospital to ensure fast, safe prescription service for discharged patients and staff.
• Develop and launch outpatient programs, bedside delivery, and clinical services to increase patient capture and revenue.
• Coach pharmacy team members to provide great customer care and accurate service that builds patient trust.
• Monitor sales reports and manage budgets to support the hospital's long-term business goals.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Licensed Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Current license from the State of Oklahoma or license issued by State of Kansas for positions residing in Kansas and fulfillment of 15 hours continuing education per year.

Education

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• Retail Pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• 2+ years of Pharmacy Manager experience preferred
