Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in California to lead the pharmacy team, ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance and operational excellence in a community setting.

You will manage pharmacists and technicians, oversee inventory and workflow, and drive patient care programs to improve outcomes while maintaining profitability and quality standards. A valid state license and immunization certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
• Listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'
• Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use)
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient safety and pharmacy professional practice
• Meet regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards
• Deliver excellent customer service and patient care
• Manage personnel, staffing, and workflow
• Control inventory and ensure financial profitability and loss prevention
• Lead and develop pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians
• Identify opportunities to improve operations and patient outcomes
• Drive adoption of patient care programs to support health goals
• Promote a team culture with empathy, accountability, and collaboration
• Ensure successful implementation of solutions and adapt to community health needs
