Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Meijer Pharmacy team in Michigan. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate patients, and support immunization services while upholding Meijer policies and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, are licensed in the state, and have retail/community practice experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this patient-centered role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in pharmacist-in-charge absence.
• Assist with immunization services where allowed.
