Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, compliance, billing, and software use.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and understanding state/federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC options.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Review and dispense prescribed medications in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency.
• Ensure Good Faith Dispensing and compliance with controlled substance laws.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on strategic opportunities and community outreach.
• Maintain pharmacy IT systems, inventory, billing, and documentation.
• Ensure accurate insurance processing and resolve payer issues.
• Follow up with providers on medications, dosing, and interactions.
• Lead training and performance reviews for pharmacy staff.
