CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager for a full-time role in a CVS Health store. The position leads a pharmacy team, ensures safe dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and regulatory compliance while driving performance through coaching and process improvements.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the store’s state, an active NPI, and 1–2 years of pharmacist experience. Anticipated weekly hours are 32, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the pharmacy team while promoting safe dispensing and counseling practices.
• Oversee pharmacy shifts and coach team to improve performance metrics.
• Ensure safe prescription fulfillment by following established workflows and safety guardrails.
• Deliver compassionate patient care and resolve insurance or medication issues with the team.
• Offer and administer immunizations where permissible to keep patients healthy.
• Protect medication cold chains and manage inventory with best practices.
• Onboard new technicians and pharmacists and ensure licensure training is completed on time.
• Ensure operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalate issues as needed.
• Partner with Store Manager to maintain cross-trained staff and licensure readiness.
• Provide regular performance reviews and address gaps within the team.
• Adapt staffing and operations to meet scheduling and business needs.
