Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Stanton, MI. This role oversees daily pharmacy operations, provides counseling to patients, and collaborates with clinic partners to achieve outcomes.

The manager leads staff development and quality initiatives within a patient-centric care model. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with a focus on clinical excellence, compliance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
Current pharmacist's license in Michigan is required.
Certified immunizer status required.
Willing to complete LAI training and administer LAI.

Responsibilities

Creates a great consumer and clinic partner experience and builds relationships to meet needs.
Serves as an expert to clinical staff and collaborates on clinical outcomes.
Counsels and educates patients on medication usage, adverse effects, and schedules.
Ensures compliance with state and federal laws by the team.
Performs wellness services such as immunizations and flu shots.
Drives pharmacy profitability and growth opportunities.
Motivates and coaches staff to deliver exceptional service.
Promotes a team environment aligned with core values.
