Job summary

Kroger in Indiana (West Lafayette) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, assist with MTM services, and ensure compliant operations. You will help with daily tasks, maintain patient privacy, and contribute to a positive customer experience in a busy retail pharmacy.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of retail experience, be enrolled in a pharmacy program, and be prepared to obtain immunization certification where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Completion of state/national intern registration or licensure as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school; capable of immunization certification.

Responsibilities

• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Act as pharmacy safety SME, coaching for accuracy.
• Support workflow and oversight through shift leadership.
• Lead by example to meet department standards.
• Assist pharmacists with responsibilities not requiring professional judgement.
• Enter patient information accurately and conduct post-fill audits.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Provide MTM services and support training of pharmacy associates.
• Follow cash handling and EFT guidelines and report theft.
• Provide day-to-day training support for technician program.
• Serve as alternate representative for store meetings.
