Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent; Preferred Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience; Preferred Hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains the database, coordinates moves, and optimizes the content of all automated dispensing cabinets.
• Adds new and troubleshoots medication barcodes.
• Maintains 340B third-party vendor databases including product mapping, correct maps, manual purchase orders and reconciling orders.
• Trains pharmacy associates on outpatient and/or retail prescription processing systems.
• Performs billing duties and fills in as a technician as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
