Job summary
Legacy Community Health in Houston is seeking an IT Application Analyst - Pharmacy to connect pharmacy operations with clinical care and EHR systems. In this hybrid role, you will configure, test, and maintain pharmacy automation, collaborate with clinical, pharmacy, and IT teams, and help ensure workflows meet regulatory standards and improve patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with EHRs and pharmacy platforms, plus knowledge of EPIC or PioneerRx, and a track record
Qualifications
- Five years of clinical healthcare experience (inpatient or ambulatory).
- Three years of pharmacy automation experience (dispensing systems & robotics).
- Experience with EHR systems and pharmacy platforms.
Responsibilities
- Configure, integrate, test, and maintain pharmacy automation systems and EHR applications.
- Support implementation and optimization of pharmacy technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions for clinical and pharmacy systems.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to align workflows with system functionality.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Train and support staff on pharmacy systems and EHR functionality.
- Document processes, configurations, and system changes.
- Participate in project planning and execution for technology initiatives.
- Bridge clinical and technical gaps in reporting with presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
