Job summary

Geisinger Centralized Logistics & Materials Distribution Center (CLAM) is seeking a Support Technician – Pharmacy to manage inventory and fulfill pharmacy orders within a professional office setting. The role involves receiving, cycle counting, shipping and logistics, and ensuring accurate delivery of medications to patients and healthcare workers.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience (preferred), and PA Board registration as a Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Certified/Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee, Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern with PA State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties consistent with the work area.
• Responsible for pharmacy inventory management including receiving, order fulfilment, cycle counting.
• Assists with filling pharmacy-related shipping, receiving, and logistics.
• Prepares and delivers verified medications to patient, representative, or healthcare worker.
• Maintains pharmacy by fulfilling daily operational needs.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines with patient information.
• Maintains financial, reimbursement, and patient assistance paperwork where applicable.
• Requires registration with PA State Board of Pharmacy.
