Job summary

The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Pharmacy Inventory Coordinator role supports inventory management across multiple locations, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies. You will oversee automated dispensing equipment and coordinate with the reverse distributor.

You will maintain PioneerRx data accuracy, participate in the 340B program, and communicate inventory issues to clinicians and staff to ensure timely patient care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of LGBTQ community and issues relevant to LGBTQ people
• Experience in a high-pressure medical environment (2+ years)
• Strong inventory/purchasing knowledge
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with pharmacy applications and software systems (PioneerRx preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage medication inventory and orders, including PAR levels and backorders
• Enter and maintain medication data in PioneerRx and update system queues
• Prepare and fill automated dispensing equipment and floor orders
• Ensure storage compliance and monitor refrigerator/freezer temperatures
• Communicate stock issues to providers and staff, participate in 340B compliance team
