Job summary

Rochester General Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support distributive and clinical activities under a pharmacist preceptor. The program prepares students to practice as fully competent pharmacists upon completion.

The internship is a Per Diem, on-site position in the Rochester, NY Pharmacy department. Enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy is required, and a permit must be obtained within 90 days after completing the first year of pharmacy school.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Must obtain permit within 90 days after completing first year of pharmacy school.
• NYS regulations govern internship eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs all functions of the Pharmacy Assistant and Pharmacy Technician.
• Develops project management skills and works independently to complete projects.
• Able to collect and analyze data.
• Participates with teams to continuously improve quality.
