Responsibilities

• Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
• Transcribes prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Answers telephone inquiries and provides drug information.
• Participates in IV/sterile product preparation and quality assurance.
• Fills physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Orders and maintains stock; notifies pharmacist of discrepancies.
• Adheres to safety precautions for chemotherapy and related procedures.
• Documents appropriately on medication logs and related records.
