JobRx, Inc. is looking for a Pharmacy Intern to receive experiential pharmacy practice training. The intern will assist pharmacists with the storage, preparation, and dispensing of medications and other pharmaceutical care.

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program and be PA Pharmacy Intern certified. This role offers opportunities to work alongside experienced pharmacists in a supportive environment.

Job description

The Pharmacy Intern is registered with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy for the purpose of receiving experiential pharmacy practice training.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in the storage, preparation and dispensing of medications to patients, patient care areas, and departments.
• Identifies, prepares, packages, labels, and delivers medications, including sterile products, and provides other pharmaceutical care commensurate with years of professional education under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Education

Enrolled in an accredited college or school of Pharmacy.

Licenses

PA Pharmacy Intern required.
