Temple Health – Temple University Health System is looking for a Pharmacy Intern to assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications across departments. The intern will receive experiential pharmacy training under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring compliance with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school and possess a PA Pharmacy Intern license, with a detailed understanding of medication storage, labeling, and delivery.
The Pharmacy Intern is registered with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy for the purpose of receiving experiential pharmacy practice training. Assists the pharmacist in the storage, preparation and dispensing of medications to patients, patient care areas and departments. Identifies, prepares, packages, labels and delivers medications, including sterile products, and provides other pharmaceutical care commensurate with years of professional education under the supervision of a pharmacist.
