Job summary

Fred Meyer is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Intern to assist the department in delivering outstanding customer service and safe, accurate medication handling. You will work under the pharmacist's supervision to counsel customers, input prescriptions, and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy area.

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.
Provide drug counseling to customers.
Assist with over the counter medications recommendations.
Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
Dispense the correct medication.
Contact prescribers' offices for authorization.
Stock and manage inventory in the department.
Provide immunizations under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Create a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
