Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service aptitude in a retail/pharmacy setting.
• Ability to discuss pharmaceutical products with customers and prescribers.
• Knowledge of OTC medication recommendations and counseling.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment to encourage store visits.
• Support sales goals and monitor quality assurance standards.
• Promote Customer 1st strategy and assist associates in service delivery.
• Foster trust and respect among team members.
• Answer questions about products within the department and store.
• Discuss pharmaceutical products knowledgeably with customers and prescribers.
• Provide drug counseling and OTC recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense medications and obtain prescriber authorization when needed.
• Bag prescriptions and deliver to customers accurately.
• Process third-party insurance information and communicate with insurers.
• Handle and interpret prescriptions for fill or refill.
• Assist with immunizations under pharmacist supervision and ensure department cleanliness.
• Stock incoming orders and manage inventory, returning unused bottles.
• Report safety risks and prescription incidents to the pharmacist on duty.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment; manage conflicts professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help as needed to resolve issues.
• Provide support for minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
