Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Pharm D degree from an accredited institution prior to starting the position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certification as an immunizer or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Providing pharmacy consulting on medication usage, drug interactions and preventive healthcare.
• Ensuring proper compounding, dispensation, review and verification of medications.
• Assisting customers and promoting healthcare services and patient consultation.
• Counseling patients on medicine usage, side effects and interactions.
• Performing pharmacy tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews and verification.
• Supporting workflow and staff coordination, opening/closing duties and shift changes.
• Ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements and insurance processing.
