Responsibilities

• Counsels patients about usage of medicine, side effects, interactions and generics.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, opening/closing procedures and efficient workflow.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge (Intercom Plus, registers, StoreNET) and seeks productivity improvements.
• Processes insurance claims accurately and follows up with providers as needed.
• Delivers immunizations and wellness services and supports community health initiatives.
