Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy program or pre‑pharmacy program.
• Pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Must be eligible to register as Pharmacy Intern or pharmacy technician in CT or RI.
• Demonstrated mathematical calculation accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high reliability and adherence to HRO behaviors.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare team.
• Assist with medication preparation, dispensing, and distribution under supervision.
• Perform calculations and drug product manipulations, including compounding.
• Support inventory management, receiving, restocking, expiration monitoring.
• Support immunization initiatives if certified to immunize.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication of medication information.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security per HIPAA and policies.
