Job summary

Raley's Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the Pharmacy Manager in daily site operations and to deliver patient-centric care. You will help with customer service, dispensing support, and adherence programs while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

Under supervision, you will participate in immunizations, medication therapy management, and inventory control, contributing to store sales and efficient workflow within a family-owned company with 80 years of history.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
State-issued license for Pharmacy Intern in state where working.
Knowledge of OTC drugs, pharmacy products and third-party plans.
Self-motivated with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
Customer relations skills including meeting customer needs and exceptional service.
Demonstrates sound business ethics.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and Word.
Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work.
Interpersonal skills including building relationships and conflict resolution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work different schedules to meet store and customer needs.

Responsibilities

Assist in the operation of the site pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service and supporting sales and inventory management.
Ensure location compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
Support pharmacy programs, including immunizations, testing and adherence platforms under supervision.
Contribute to medication therapy management and patient consultations to improve outcomes.
Help optimize pharmacy workflow and financial performance while maintaining quality service.
