Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, contraindications, privacy, generics, and referrals as needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations and company policies; assists with procedures to promote efficient workflow.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and insurance processing; proposes enhancements to promote productivity.
• Supports immunization and preventive health services and maintains relationships with local healthcare providers.
