Qualifications

• Proficiency in pharmacy laws and regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicines, side effects, interactions, and patient privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies; assists with procedures for efficient workflow.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and proposes system enhancements.
• Ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and follows up with payers and providers.
• Performs immunizations, wellness services, and patient education to improve health outcomes.
