Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn and support the pharmacist and pharmacy team in providing the best patient experience and processing prescriptions under supervision.

You will gain experience with pharmacy systems, patient counseling, inventory duties, and adherence to regulatory standards while developing skills for future licensure as a pharmacist. The role may require evenings and weekends, with pay between $18.00 and $31.00 per hour depending on geography and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Develops strong relationships with customers.
• Learn from store and pharmacy team members, field leadership, team members and customers/patients.
• Under supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with policy.
• Reviews and complies with Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Assists pharmacists in delivering patient care and services within state scope of practice.
• Reports prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to error policies.
