Job summary

JobRx, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Intern to assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient experiences and processing prescriptions using pharmacy systems.

You will learn and apply pharmacy policies, procedures, and customer service best practices while developing clinical skills under supervision. The role includes patient counseling and support in health services within state scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state, federal, and company policy. Reviews and complies with Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Performs duties as assigned and supervised by the pharmacist in accordance with standard operating procedures for entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
