Job summary

Walgreens in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists and pharmacy staff while gaining hands-on experience with dispensing, patient counseling, and product assistance. You will learn to use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under supervision.

You'll engage customers, help maintain store operations, and develop knowledge of state and federal regulations and Walgreens policies to deliver a safe, delightful patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Pharmacy program and demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, guiding product selection and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Supports pharmacist in entering, third party processing, and dispensing prescriptions under supervision.
• Assists with inventory management and maintains pharmacy area cleanliness and order.
