Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and inventory management in our Champaign, IL location.

The role involves assisting patients, handling third-party adjudication, and contributing to clinical services under supervision. The candidate should be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school with a state-specific intern license, a positive attitude, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship; organizational and prioritization skills.
• Team-oriented, timely, dependable, and empathetic; understands patient confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients in person and by telephone; assist with product selection and pricing inquiries.
• Process and fill prescriptions using the pharmacy computer system; perform third party adjudication; operate Will Call station.
• Perform third-party functions and manage inventory; monitor balance on hand and ordering; handle vendor transfers and salvage.
