Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy intern to support the pharmacist and team in Missoula, MT. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and help deliver a positive customer experience.

Under supervision, you will learn the practice of pharmacy, assist in creating quality patient care, and participate in inventory and policy adherence, while maintaining professional conduct and good faith dispensing practices.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Develops strong relationships with customers.
• Learn from store and pharmacy team members, field leadership, team members and customers/patients.
• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision of the pharmacist, in accordance with policy.
• Assist with inventory management and pharmacy operations under supervision.
