Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and pharmacy team in processing prescriptions and obtaining patient information. You will help deliver an outstanding customer experience and learn the policies and procedures that govern pharmacy practice.

Under supervision, you will assist with dispensing, patient counseling, and health services while gaining exposure to regulatory requirements and daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must be enrolled in a Pharmacy program.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team with prescriptions and patient information.
• Provide excellent customer experience and resolve issues.
• Support pharmacy operations, including inventory, cash handling, and cashier duties.
• Report prescription errors and follow Good Faith Dispensing policy.
• Support health services such as blood pressure and medication therapy management.
