Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and pharmacy team in accordance with state and federal regulations. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, while learning to deliver an excellent patient experience.

Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy, fluent in English, and willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to create a positive experience.
• Assist in pharmacy tasks under supervision, including processing prescriptions.
• Support inventory management and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy area.
• Report prescription errors to the on-duty pharmacist per policy.
• Participate in patient counseling and health services within scope of practice.
