Job summary

CVS Health in Jonesboro, GA is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to support patient care, safety, and daily operations in a retail setting.

Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, and delivering excellent customer service while pursuing ACPE-accredited education requirements. This is a part-time internship with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Patient safety and quality assurance in the retail pharmacy environment.
• Regulatory compliance and pharmacy workflow management.
• Inventory control and customer service responsibilities.
• Support to the pharmacy team under licensed pharmacist supervision.
