Job summary

CVS Health in Georgia is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will contribute to safe and effective care, patient safety, and high-quality customer service while supporting daily pharmacy operations.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, inventory/workflow management, and patient care programs. Active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy is required; weekends and extended standing

Qualifications

Active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance including weekends
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and remain upright for extended periods

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment delivering exceptional care
Lead with Heart – empathy for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Support inventory management and workflow processes
Comply with regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices
Assist with customer service and prescription processes (excluding final verification)
