Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy internship program seeks students enrolled in a pharmacy program to learn and assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in processing prescriptions while delivering patient care in full compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team under supervision to process prescriptions.
• Provide patient counseling and health services within state scope of practice.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty per policy.
• Support inventory management and cash handling as needed.
• Maintain pharmacy area clean and orderly, stocked with supplies.
